We are so proud of this project, and feel so blessed to have been a part of it from the early stages. Please take a few minutes to watch this powerful video produced by the Design Trust for Public Space about this exciting project titled ‘Opening the Edge’. This project was proposed by artist Jane Greengold in partnership with New York City Housing Authority and the residents and community members of Lillian Wald Houses in the Lower East Side. Together with community members, we’re developing a prototype for a lively public space on the Lillian Wald Houses, which could be replicated at other NYCHA developments.
Kate Sweater of Dwaal Lighting Design is the lighting fellow for this project.
